Fernando Da Silva is a native of 
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil who emigrated to the United States to pursue a career in the commercial art field. His creative genius has spanned six decades and crossed many genres. His achievements include groundbreaking contributions in the fields of advertising, book illustration, syndicated comics, sports illustration and more.

The most recent phase of his career has brought the artist back to subjects and mediums that have always been personal favorites. His latest work demonstrates his keen ability to utilize rich colors and textural detail, bringing to life landscapes of breathtaking vibrancy and beauty.

Ranging in subject from classical European seaports to the serene, wind washed coasts of New England, each work is imbued with the artist's amazing sense of color and light.
